STEP ONE: APPLY FOR WAITLIST AND PAY $75 APPLICATION FEE
At Montessori School of Cleveland, we maintain continuous enrollment due to the individualized, child-led nature of Montessori education. Open enrollment for families on our waitlist begins after MLK Day each year.
Please note that our waitlist is not always processed strictly in chronological order, as placement depends on the specific needs and balance of each classroom community.
A one-time, non-refundable $75 application fee is required to submit your child’s online waitlist application.
Preference is given in the following order:
Currently enrolled students
Siblings of enrolled students
Children with previous Montessori experience
New applicants
STEP TWO: SCHEDULE NEW STUDENT OBSERVATION
After your waitlist application is submitted and the application fee is paid, either the department lead or the admissions director will contact you to schedule a new student observation and tour. During this visit, your child will have the opportunity to independently experience the classroom environment while our teachers observe their interactions in the Montessori setting.
We ask that families send a labeled water bottle and a snack for their child during this time.
Please note that to give your child the best experience, and for our teachers to focus on your child, we do not allow parents to attend the new student observation.
STEP THREE: ENROLLMENT
You will receive an email with all documents needed for your child to start including: enrollment agreement, deposit, fees, tuition schedule and due dates.
ROOTED SKILLS - OPTIONAL PROGRAM
Rooted Skills is a student support program designed to provide individualized academic, behavioral, and social support within the Montessori environment. Through personalized plans, collaborative support services, and targeted guidance, we help students build confidence, independence, and the skills needed to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
